GLASTONBURY ROCKS!!!

The summer months have been busy for the Glastonbury Pony Clubbers. Nationals saw 5 of our members participating: Stef Shea whose team took 3rd for Training Level Eventing, Heather Armstrong on the Senior Quiz team that took 3rd, Jessica Quimby with a 17th on the Junior Quiz team, Alyssa Segala on the Beginner Novice Eventing team with Steph Giola as Horse Manager taking 1st in Horse Management. Maddie Lipman also was present to give support to our club members competing. Congratulations to you all for being such great competitors and ambassadors for our Region!

The club has begun planning it 50th anniversary celebration to be held on November 30th at the Gallery in Glastonbury. RESULTS FROM REGIONALS!!

We had two teams for dressage and they both did great!! Heather, Katie, Jessica and Erika made up one team and had a very good day with some excellent rides. Heather, Jessica & Katie did awesome for their first regional rally. Maddie, Stef, and Alyssa pulled a first place for dressage and horse management. Maddie also won first place for her Training Level kur.

For eventing the Glastonbury club earned another first place for horse management and everyone who wanted to qualify for nationals is going. Stef, Alyssa and Maddie will be going for eventing and Steph G. will be the horse manager. Katie & Heather will be going to Nationals for quiz.

You ALL did a brilliant job!

and the WINNER is...

GLASTONBURY PONY CLUB!!

Once again our riders made a great impression by winning the Glastonbury Pony Club Rally held at Babcock Hill Equestrian Center on May 25th. There were 12 teams particpating this year with over 40 riders. Glastonbury placed 1st and 3rd with their two teams!

Stef and Morgan had the lowest dressage scores of the day!

Heather & Steph tied for best Horse Manager. The tie was broken by Sage who received an "exceeds expectations" for her boot shine in formal inspections, placing Heather as the number one Horse Manager of the rally with Steph a close second. This was Sage's and Morgan's first rally, too!

Excellent job by you all, including parents and friends!!!
